I know what you are thinking “Cameron Dallas makes music?” or “who is Cameron Dallas?” While both of those questions are fair to ask let me tell you a little bit about Cameron before we get into his song ‘why haven’t i met you?’
When i asked Siri the question “who is Cameron Dallas” this is what she told me: Cameron Dallas is an American Internet Personality. so far that leads me to the question “then why is he singing?” all i really know about Dallas is that he was apart of MAGCON for quite a few years.
Anyways, lets get into the music:
The Song were talking about today is called “Why Haven’t I Met You?” now I am gonna be honest i have heard this song prior to today.
Okay, lets begin.
Verse 1:
“I gotta be honest, i gotta be honest Hearts been walked on, so I’m cautious I gotta stay Cautious”
can i just say i am kinda into hearing guys emotions more, like he’s pretty much saying that he has been hurt in the past and so he’s not gonna fall for just anyone.
“when i start falling, I just stop it Baby, i stop it. ‘Cause i know its not you and I’ve waited for you”
That’s real cute. like real cute!!
Pre-Chorus:
“But then my bed grows colder like my empty shoulder
What can I do?
Cause it’s too hard to face all alone on this pillow

Why haven’t I met you?”
Again, i LOVE hearing guys express their emotions! we don’t hear them enough anymore!
Chorus:

I feel like the chorus isn’t lyrically written well but that’s my own opinion.
Verse 2:

And I’ve waited for you”
I’m SO glad that he admits that he has trust issues and that he’s not flawless especially for the society we live in today!! Major props to Cameron for saying these things!
Then it goes into the pre-chorus and chorus again so were skipping to the bridge now
Bridge:
“Girl, I know you’re out there now
And I know you’re holding out
Need me to come around
Know that I won’t let you down”
His Voice during the bridge is amazing.
Recap:
The beat to the song is good, i wish there was a few more instruments in it other than a guitar. if he thinks it sounds good and if he likes it that way then by all means keep it that way.
I do like this song alot though, I am very glad he did not try to rap again, because that probably wouldn’t sound very good. I think that everyone should give it a listen, if you don’t like it then oh well, but at least try it out!
